Choosing the Right Running Shoes

Walking into the store to shop for a new pair of running shoes can be downright intimidating.  For each individual brand, there are scores of colors, shapes, and models to cover the entire spectrum of runners, from the beginner to the professional. As a person buying their first pair of serious running shoes, the task can seem monumental.  What are the differences between the models and which would be good for my specific feet?  Here are a few tips to get you pointed in the right direction.

Tips For Getting Serious About Running

It’s about that time of year again. The snow is melting, the deep freeze in the New York City area is slowly warming, and you’ve made up your mind:  you want to get serious about running, maybe even possibly run your first race or marathon. But if you’re a new runner, either jogging outside one in a while or on a treadmill, the path to getting a little more serious about distance running can be a little bit confusing. For all of my clients, I always offer these tips when you want to step up your running game.

What Are YOUR Physical Therapy Goals?

What do you want to accomplish with Physical Therapy? What are your goals? It’s the first question I ask all my patients during their initial Physical Therapy visit. It sounds so simple, but you’d be surprised by the number of confused looks I get whenever I ask this question. It just doesn’t seem to dawn on a lot of patients. However, to me, the answer provides the basis for how I fashion a Physical Therapy rehabilitation program.

Jersey City Celebrates AlterG & Clinic Anniversaries

Complete Physical Rehabilitation celebrated this week the first anniversary of the only AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill in Jersey City.   The AlterG is the world’s only treadmill using ground-breaking, NASA based anti-gravity technology for Physical Therapy rehabilitation programs.  The facility was the first private PT clinic to adopt the technology in all of Hudson County.
