May is one of our favorite health-based awareness months: National Physical Fitness & Sports Month. As Physical Therapists, it’s no secret that we we love promoting the positive impact that exercise can have in a person’s life. Not only are the physical benefits obvious, but the mental benefits of exercise on both adults and children are significant as well. Remember, it’s not always about just counting calories.
