A common misconception is that back and neck pain only happens to “older people.” In fact, in physical therapy, we see all ages, from grade school children to the elderly. In our profession, pain isn’t just as a result of aging.
For Tatiana, her neck and back pain made school a chore to get through. Because of her neck pain, she was unable to concentrate during class due to the resulting headaches that would occur. In addition her back pain made even sitting in class almost unbearable. And for anyone that’s ever attended college classes, they all know that classes last for hours at a time, requiring the need to be able to stay seated for long periods during the day.
But after physical therapy with Dr. Asha and Diana, her pain was completely eliminated! School was a breeze, everyday activities caused no pain whatsoever, and she was able to get back to sleeping without interruption. All this made for an amazing physical therapy result for our rockstar patient, Tatiana!
I was suffering from headaches, neck pain, and back pain. I could not focus in school and complete my tasks at work because of all that pain. As well as doing my homework and classwork, sitting in the room with bright lights would affect my headaches. Bending my back to help kids with homework and doing chores, it was all a complete struggle for me.
Now, I can do my homework and classwork without any pain, I can move and bend to pick up things and complete chores without any problems. I can even sleep better without waking up in the middle of the night and get through the day without feeling nauseous.
I like how the whole staff is patient, caring, and supportive with their clients. I loved how the physical therapists would give tips on what could and should be done to reduce pain, and really make sure that the patients are feeling 100% better than before. In addition, I liked how the therapist would have his/her private section with the patient to see what issues the patient is going through during each visit. Thanks for everything!
