October happens to be one of our favorite months in the office. As a clinic that focuses on runners, a good number of our clients are getting ready for the New York City Marathon, and as Physical Therapists, October happens to be National Physical Therapy Month. Over the years, we have been more than happy to spread the positive message about the impact that Physical Therapy can have on peoples’ lives.
This year, we have decided to both inform and celebrate the field of Physical Therapy. On social media, we will be constantly posting material intended to educate and inform the public about the benefits that Physical Therapy can have on a person’s life in ways that are both obvious and also not so obvious, including Physical Therapy fun facts, tips, and personal stories from our own patients. Hopefully, we might even be able to offer a tidbit or two that you may not have known about this medical field that we love so much.
In addition, we will also be celebrating the month and also the running of the NYC Marathon by holding a giveaway. One of our favorite recent fitness gadgets is the Fitbit fitness tracker. We have been pleasantly surprised at how both fun and addicting it can be, as both employees and our patients have been constantly competing with one another in the office to see who’s the activity king or queen of Complete Physical Rehabilitation. So, we thought it only fitting that a Fitbit be our first giveaway prize!
On our homepage, next to the the latest blog posts, you’ll see a widget detailing all the contest rules and how to enter. Don’t forget, there’s multiple ways to enter. Something as simple as posting a specific picture with the hashtag #cprnj can get you 1 entry a day. The more pictures you post, the better chance you’ll have at winning the Fitbit!
Just remember, we won’t be mailing out the prize, so the winner MUST be able to pick up with item in person from either the Elizabeth or Jersey City clinics. We hope you will all follow us on social media during National Physical Therapy Month and good luck to all on the contest!
