Back To Sports With Physical Therapy

Working with Van over the last few months in Physical Therapy in our Jersey City clinic has been nothing short of amazing.  An avid cyclist and Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Van came to us for Physical Therapy after an ACL injury that required reconstruction surgery.  Van was confident in my ability to help him recover both safely and quickly so that he could return to the BJJ competition mats, where he has distinguished himself in national tournaments on a number of occasions.

Surgery in general can be a very emotional experience.  And to have major surgery, that’s just as emotional as it comes.  So I and my partners know that it’s important to make sure that the patient is not only physically getting better, but that they are doing well emotionally as well.  

We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome for someone who became a part of our family.  Congratulations to Jackie!!  (Tip:  When you watch the video below, you might want to have a tissue handy.)
